I cannot beleive it has been a week already. it is just insane that i am even here. i don't know much it has accually sunk in yet. The biggest thing that i cannot get use to is that i am 6 times zones away from home.
Today we went to the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace. It was a neat experience. It was bag event. it was not just a couple of guys changing places. there was men on horses, there was an entire band and group of soldiers. and they marched down the street and into the palace. it was really cold out and the people infront of us decided even though they were the front people that they would stand on the raised cenent platform so no one behind them could see. they finally got down after several people asked then too.
In the Morning before the changing of the gaurd. Aylis, wendy, rachel and i went to a market. it was kinda small but it was neat to see. after changing the guard, we came back to the room and did not do much. that night we were went out to eat and were going to go pub crawling, but it was 12 pounds and you did not get much out of that and drinks cost more on top of that 12 pounds. so a few people went and a couple of us came back and were hermets and stayed in our rooms. it was too cold out to feel like doing anything. and a lot of people were tired and ready for a break.
